A crise econômica, social e política na Venezuela tem resultado na migração massiva de parte da população para o Brasil. Em resposta a este fluxo migratório, o Governo Federal lançou em 2018 a Operação Acolhida. Programa que na teoria consiste em abrigar de forma segura e ordenada os refugiados e migrantes venezuelanos, em situação de vulnerabilidade, que cruzam a fronteira com o Brasil. No entanto, ao visitar as instalações da Operação Acolhida em Roraima, o repórter Rafael Custódio constatou uma série de situações que levam famílias inteiras a preferir viver nas ruas a se submeter às condições desumanas e de violência dentro desses espaços de acolhimento.


O episódio conta também com a participação da professora Márcia Maria de Oliveira, da Universidade Federal de Roraima, que analisa a atual situação da Operação Acolhida e avalia como o espaço acaba promovendo segregação e confinamento dos imigrante, sem levar em conta seu principal objetivo principal que é oferecer uma resposta humanitária para a crise migratória.

Em 2017, o jornal The New York times revelou uma série de acusações de abusos sexuais, ocorridos ao longo de décadas contra o então produtor de Hollywood Harvey Weinstein.

Cada caso revelado incentivava uma nova denúncia, e, ao todo, 30 atrizes relataram terem sido abusadas por Weinstein – incluindo Gwyneth Paltrow e Angelina Jolie. Weinsten foi preso, condenado por estupro e agressão sexual, e o movimento Me Too, que incentiva mulheres abusadas sexualmente a denunciarem seus agressores, ganhou força inédita.

No mesmo período, entretanto, o mundo viveu uma forte onda conservadora. O cinema e as séries de TV parecem evitar erotismo e cenas de sexo, e plataformas como a Netflix desenvolveram até um botão para “pular” esses momentos.

Neste episódio de podcast, falamos sobre como as produções audiovisuais estão cada vez menos eróticas, e sobre o desafio da criação de cenas de sexo para cinema e para TV.
