While the recent ICE surge in Minnesota may be winding down, the damage it has left behind is not. The organizations doing the long work of repair, protection, and care remain and they need sustained support. We invite you to stand with the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota Immigrant Rapid Response Fund (IRRF), a coalition of 32 philanthropic leaders rooted in communities most impacted by immigration-related harm.
Produced in collaboration with Sister Black Press, it pairs an inkjet photograph by Alec Soth with letterpress text by Brad Zellar.
I wanted to make a cool stand for a 60 year old bandsaw I recently bought, but give it the look of old workshop furniture. The legs are designed to look like cast iron, even though they're actually made from plywood. This video is more about the design and process and just enjoying a fun project.

This ironware was started in the mid-17th century with artisans who were invited from Kyoto. The technique incolves pouring molten iron into a sand mold, whereby a kettle or a teakettle is casted. The sand lold with dots creates a tiny knobbed body on the kettle.

Natasha Billson is a public archaeologist, historian, and presenter with a passion for storytelling. She is one of the lead presenters on Channel 4’s The Great British Dig with Hugh Dennis, and has featured on numerous television shows across the UK, North America, and Europe.
Natasha also established an international initiative supporting Ukrainian archaeologists, including 3D scanning artefacts and monuments at risk from bombardment and looting. She is the creator of the YouTube live show Archaeologists in Quarantine (Behind The Trowel) and co-founder of Heritage Media Group, bridging heritage organisations and audiences through social media management, video production, and training.

Natasha Billson has worked on a range of military heritage and conflict archaeology projects, from recording coastal defences in England and Barbados, to WWII bunkers and surviving battlefield infrastructure.
She has also supported archaeological projects working with veterans as a form of rehabilitation, including excavations on sites near Akrotiri Military Base.
