This is a type of furniture unique to Japanese culture, and it is used on tatami mats.
It's made from cherry wood.
You can use it with cushions on the back and seat.
En este episodio visita el Tíbet JENNIFER ROPE, modelo, actriz, presentadora de televisión y guionista, hija de ecuatoguineana y estadounidense. Aunque soñaba con ser actriz, debutó primero en la pequeña pantalla, como copresentadora del concurso "Grand Prix" (TVE) en 1995. En la misma cadena la viste presentando el mítico programa “Música sí”, estrenado en 1997, por el que pasaron todos los grandes artistas del momento, como Back Street Boys, Bruce Springsteen, Alejandro Sanz, Beyoncé...
La música la acompañó durante años. Presentó los resúmenes diarios de la primera “Operación Triunfo” y también “Eurocanción 2001”, programa de TVE para elegir al representante de España en Eurovisión, antepasado del Benidorm Fest.
Jennifer recuerda que cuando era niña "en la tele la única persona negra que yo veía era Will Smith, y pensaba que para salir había que hablar inglés como él", conseguirá ser una de las mujeres negras pioneras como presentadora de televisión en España. Expresa sus ideas con mucha claridad, "el físico me ha marcado, te ven sin cerebro, especialmente si eres mujer y negra. Me dieron la primera oportunidad porque me consideraban exótica".
