Dr. Kurt Allen Sibayan, the admitting physician of former speaker Martin Romualdez, says on Thursday, September 10, that he did not see nor examine the lawmaker because he was barred by the attending physicians from entering the room. He also says that Romualdez's case was not an emergency.
The prosecution also notes that there's nothing in Romualdez's medical abstract that indicates his health condition requires confinement.

Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro, Jr. tells the Manila Strategy Forum that the "world has been coddling...has been indulging [China] too much," days after openly lambasting China at the Seoul Defense Dialogue after he was handed a handwritten note on China's rejection of the landmark 2016 Arbitral Award.
