Is everyone overreacting to the AI data center boom?

AI's climate impact is worse that previously estimated. From data centers to the fossil fuel industry to numerous other industries, AI is accelerating emissions.

And the Trump administration is making is worse, exempting some data centers from climate regulations.

The people who live closest to data centers and their polluting turbines are sounding the alarm about serious health concerns as a result of all this pollution.
