Residentes estrangeiros em Portugal já são quase o dobro de 2015

A quantidade de estrangeiros residentes em Portugal de modo regular subiu pelo sexto ano consecutivo, atingindo o recorde de 771 mil pessoas em 2021. O número representa quase o dobro dos 388.731 estrangeiros que oficialmente moravam no país em 2015, ano em que os fluxos migratórios começaram a se recuperar depois de uma queda expressiva causada pela crise econômica. Falando em latim, linguista explora ruínas romanas no Líbano

Os vídeos do Líbano que circulam nestes meses retratam um país desmoronando a olhos vistos. São as duras imagens da explosão que devastou o porto de Beirute em agosto de 2020, por exemplo, ou da violência urbana que acompanha a atual crise econômica. O linguista libanês autodidata Patrick Khoury, no entanto, gravou recentemente um outro tipo de registro. Montam presépios de Natal e se cagam em deus (aqui, "em cago en Déu" é uma expressão corrente, com muitas variações criativas: cagar sobre a mãe, sobre a virgem e todos os santos, sobre o leite ?sim, aquele ?, e até sobre a puta de ouros, como dizia o avô de uma amiga, ou sobre teus mortos a cavalo, bordão do namoradinho de juventude de outra).
