Lançamento do PNL 2050 - Fala de Mariel Nakane, do Instituto Socioambiental (ISA)

O Plano Nacional de Logística (PNL) 2050 foi lançado pelo Ministério dos Transportes na quarta-feira (12/8), em Brasília, e contempla de forma inédita um conjunto de indicadores socioambientais e climáticos acompanhados de diretrizes para mitigação e gestão de riscos relacionados ao combate ao desmatamento, preservação da biodiversidade e reconhecimento de povos e comunidades tradicionais, que deverão ser consideradas durante o planejamento estatal de transportes no país nos próximos 24 anos.

A inclusão das diretrizes socioambientais no PNL 2050 é resultado de constantes diálogos entre o Ministério dos Transportes e organizações da sociedade civil, como o Instituto Socioambiental (ISA), o Grupo de Trabalho Infraestrutura e Justiça Socioambiental (GT Infra) e o Instituto de Energia e Meio Ambiente (IEMA).

A analista do ISA, Mariel Nakane, avalia positivamente as inclusões da temática socioambiental no novo plano, mas ressalta o desafio de colocá-lo em prática com os projetos que já estão em andamento.

“O PNL 2050 avança no reconhecimento dos riscos socioambientais que têm sido historicamente ignorados no planejamento de transportes, como o risco de desmatamento induzido, por exemplo”, disse Nakane.

“No entanto, o desafio é fazer com que esse plano provoque, de fato, mudanças concretas na política de transportes, que se reflitam na revisão de projetos de alto risco do Arco Norte, como o derrocamento do pedral do Lourenço no Rio Tocantins, a Ferrogrão e as intervenções no Tapajós, todas que ainda não foram consultadas junto aos povos indígenas e ribeirinhos”, avaliou.

Picture the world 100 or 200 years from now. What are you imagining? Hotter temperatures, melting glaciers or alpine places without snow? With heatwaves happening across Europe this summer, it's not that hard to visualise.

Now picture Europe in a deep freeze where temperatures hit -20°C in London. Both of these scenarios might be the future we're heading for, thanks to climate change. And there's an even more worrying indicator: while almost the entire planet has been warming, there's one patch in the North Atlantic Ocean just south of Greenland where temperatures have been falling.

Scientists call it the "cold blob", and some think it could be a warning that one of Earth's most important climate systems is beginning to change and may soon hit a tipping point where climate change no longer happens gradually. If this system flips, it could have devastating consequences that change all of our lives as we know them.

Aperture by Tailscale is now generally available, and it can give agents controlled SSH access to machines on your tailnet. In this Summer Update, Remy shows us how Aperture can set up real homelab services while keeping Tailscale identity and access controls in the loop.

We use a Raspberry Pi to see how an agent can install and configure services, add them to a tailnet, and work within the permissions you define. We also look at Aperture's mobile experience, LLM and MCP visibility, and how its SSH and node-management capabilities can be used from other agent workflows through MCP.

The goal isn't simply to let an agent onto your network. It's to make intentional decisions about what that agent can and can't access.
