Qualcomm made a Pi 5 killer. Good luck getting one.

The Radxa Dragon Q8B is more than twice as fast, has twice the I/O, and is only a little bit larger than the Raspberry Pi 5. But it costs a smidge more, and can be hard to find.

I was asked to write the Foreword to a special issue of Georgetown University’s Science Politics titled “Food Forward.”

As its editor, Emily Medenhall, explains,

In these essays, the authors consider how food is produced, distributed, purchased, shared, consumed, and experienced.

But instead of thinking only about what’s wrong, they think about how to create a better, safer, and more nourishing world.  By investing in food, we cultivate strong bonds that strengthen families, economies, and the planet.
