In a recent video on "Invisible Phones", I scared the beginners because the explanation of that solution was more advanced. But it is only one of 3 possible options. Today we will reframe this into levels of solutions for hiding your phone number and the base solution requires no tech skills. When you start from the base level, you are already reaping the privacy benefits of de-linking your phone number to your identity.

In the news is a newly discovered Windows tracker that has some scary implications. It can be used to track your activities all over the Internet and was recently used against a Cyber-criminal case by the US Government. It involved information supplied by Microsoft and it reveals a level of tracking that we have not known about and works even if you don't use a Microsoft account. The vast majority of people, even tech people, do not understand the dangers of IPv6. This mysterious feature of the Internet is even being used actively by some Big Tech sites and we thought this was only used internally. I was forced to use an old 5 year old laptop for the last two weeks and it opened my eyes to the bill of goods that we've been sold. I didn't notice any significant performance difference with the majority of things that I do with my daily driver. And yet the old computer specs would leave you to believe it would drag slowly. If you ever mix Linux with Windows, whether it be on separate drives or one dual boot drive, or just suffer from some corruption of Linux, I have a new way of installation that will save you. This foolproof method will ensure that nothing will break your install. Even if Windows overwrites the bootloader, you can be up and running again in 15 minutes. The trick is something that's not taught frequently enough. It's a Linux Multi-Partition Install.
