Os switches PoE (Power Over Ethernet) estão se tornando cada vez mais importantes dentro da infraestrutura das redes. Sistemas como telefonia, câmeras de segurança, Wi-Fi e até mesmo iluminação e controle de acesso estão migrando para alimentação PoE.
No entanto, o que muita gente esquece é que quando um switch PoE convencional reinicializa (quer seja por atualização de firmware, problema de hardware recorrente ou mesmo um ataque de hackers) a alimentação PoE é interrompida e todos equipamentos reinicializam também.
